My brother Matt passed away unexpectedly last Thursday at his home in North Carolina. He was a sometime contributor to this space, so some of you have read his ramblings as well as mine.
As a tribute to him, I have put all the posts he wrote for me on a page that you can access here. There will also be a permanent link on the sidebar.
He was a rationalist, as am I, so no thoughts or prayers will be shared for him here. Matt, if you read him, you know was pretty well unconvinced of their utility. In one of his best posts, he suggests, that in the face of tragedy large or small, instead of praying to a putative Almighty for mercy, for if that Almighty exists, He is pretty random about taking requests, we substitute the phrase, "Aw, rats."
Aw, rats, my brother. Aw, rats. Rest in peace.
